So, some may ask, who is the heart and soul of this Pittsburgh Steelers team?
Is it the 18-year man, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger? Nope.
Is it the highest payed defensive player in football in TJ Watt? No, not him either.
It is the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cam Heyward.
Why is it Heyward? He doesn't lead the team in sacks, but he does more than you think for this team. This man has a heart of a lion. Take for example Heyward chasing down quarterback Justin Herbert way down the field to make a touchdown saving tackle against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. He just does all the dirty work for this team.
With multiple other key stars on this defense, Heyward leads the charge as far as the Steelers go.

The 11th year veteran out of Ohio State has been an absolute monster for the Steelers this year. With one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery (not to mention 6.5 sacks through 12 games), Heyward has been the most consistent player for the Steelers this year on both sides of the ball. With this being his 11th season, how is he having such a dominant season? For Heyward, the word "consistency" has to come to mind when you bring up the 4x Pro Bowler and 2x All-Pro. What interior lineman in his 11th year should be this good and rated higher than Aaron Donald in Pro Football Focus? Watch every snap that Heyward is in. Though he may not get a splashy play every time, the hustle and effort will always be there from number 97. Steeler Nation, as we enjoy the last ride for Big Ben, enjoy every snap from "CamZilla" because he is still dominating the game at the age of 32.
