Good news coming Friday morning as the Pittsburgh Steelers activated wide receiver James Washington off the Reserve/COVID-19 list which he was put on earlier this month.
Washington led the team in receiving yardage last season (735) and is entering his third season. He'll look to rejoin his teammates after other players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list won't be so lucky. Former Oregon DB Arrion Springs who was also placed on this list was released by the team earlier this week. The team activated Springs off the reserve list but then dropped the DB in hopes to draw closer to a total roster number under 80 players.
The reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person(s) per Steelers.com.
More to come.
