Since being a 6th round pick by the Steelers in the 2019 NFL Draft, Buggs has appeared in 29 games for the team with a total of seven starts. 10 of those appearances and six of those starts have come this year, all during the first 10 weeks of the season.
Since his last appearance in Week 10, Buggs has missed games due to being on the NFL's Reserve/COVID-19 list, an ankle injury, and finally due to being a healthy scratch the last couple weeks.
Buggs had a high ceiling coming out of the University of Alabama in 2019, but never lived up to his potential due to inconsistent play and mental errors on the field.
