The Pittsburgh Steelers remained busy on Thursday adjusting their roster as they brought back inside linebacker, Marcus Allen, and offensive lineman, Trent Scott. Allen was injured most of training camp and was released on Tuesday before being brought back to the team. He's an original fifth round draft pick by Pittsburgh in 2018, while Scott originally signed a one-year contract this off-season before also being released by the team on Tuesday, just to be brought back as well.

These were corresponding moves when the team placed both safety Damontae Kazee, and rookie wide receiver, Calvin Austin III on the Reserve/Injured List.
In other news, the team claimed linebacker, Jamir Jones off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars. In doing so, the team released linebacker, Derrek Tuszka. Jones signed with Pittsburgh during the 2021 off-season, made the 53-man roster, and played in three regular season games before he was released in late September. Tuszka is originally a 2020 seventh round draft pick by the Denver Broncos before signing with Pittsburgh in 2021.
