For the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Kenny Pickett era starts now according to a report by NFL Network insider, Ian Rapoport:

Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin wouldn't name Pickett the starter on Sunday, but it sounds like things have changed.
Pickett completed all his passes in his NFL debut replacing Mitch Trubisky at halftime, finishing with 10 completions to Steelers players and throwing three to New York Jets defenders on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium. He also ran for a pair of scores, once on a sneak and once on a bootleg. He seemed to provide a spark to the Steelers offense with his edge and poise:
