Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers took to Saint Vincent College again in Latrobe, PA for another day of training camp 2022. It's the third week of practice prior to the team's first preseason game of the year against the Seattle Seahawks, and the position battles are continuing to heat up. All eyes are on quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky, Kenny Pickett, and Mason Rudolph, but there's another player who continues to steal the show.

Second round draft pick, George Pickens has had the entire city of Pittsburgh on notice. Since the first week of camp, he has continued to impress, making multiple spectacular catches, and proving he has all the potential in the world to be a top receiver in the National Football League. Each day you think he can't outdo himself at practice, the next day, he does just that -- and he does it with swagger.
Haha Pickens just wins his 1 on 1 with Sutton and hits the Griddy on him. Sutton asked for a rematch and Pickens scored again lol. And then he hit the Griddy AGAIN haha. Pickens is special man. #HereWeGo

Wednesday was no different as the former Georgia Bulldog was the clear standout of the day yet again. During one on one drills, the wide receivers went at it against the defensive backs as they normally do, and head coach, Mike Tomlin, made it a point to have two of his best go head to head.
"14! ...25!" Tomlin yelled as he wanted one of his top cornerbacks in Ahkello Witherspoon to take on the seemingly unstoppable rookie in Pickens.
The entire day, Coach Tomlin made it a point to challenge several individuals throughout the day. As he always says, "Irons sharpens iron."
Tomlin just called out Minkah for getting beat deep by Tyler Vaughns. Said he wants to see him 1 on 1 with Sternberger. Pickett goes deep to him, but Minkah shuts it down. Gets a little redemption. Tomlin calling out a lot of people today. 😤 #HereWeGo

Witherspoon had won a match up against Pickens earlier in the day, while Pickens was getting the best of CB Cam Sutton on Tuesday, and Levi Wallace later in the practice on Wednesday. This time for Pickens and Witherspoon however, all eyes were on their match up.
Watch:
I wanted to post this a couple plays ago haha. Tomlin verbally called out “14” and “25,” Pickens and Witherspoon, and Pickens continues to do what he does best. 😩😂🔥 HE GOT THAT DOG IN ‘EM. #HereWeGo pic.twitter.com/6YVJ6LzEjg

Pickens continues to display elite speed, ball skills, and his charisma is growing in the Steel City. Has his play in camp thus far been a matter of dominance from his end? Or is it time to maybe start being slightly concerned that none of the black and gold DB's can cover the 21 year old...
