The 2023 NFL Draft has Pittsburgh Steelers fans pinching themselves to make sure it's not a dream. The first draft by new General Manager, Omar Khan and Assistant General Manager, Andy Weidl has been a complete success, but the team still has three more selections on Saturday afternoon to bring the weekend to a close. Two of them are set to be in the seventh round (#241 and #251). Below are seven names to keep an eye on that Pittsburgh might select to close out the 2023 NFL Draft.

Who Should The Steelers Select To Close Out The Draft?

**SELECTED 5TH ROUND** Clayton Tune - QB Houston

Clayton Tune (#3) drops back to pass.

A popular late-round name surrounding the Steelers is Clayton Tune. As it stands today, the team only has two quarterbacks on the roster in Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky. At some point between now and training camp the team will be adding two names to that list.

One of them could be Tune. He has been a popular late-round name, visiting with several teams before the draft began, one of those being the Steelers. Jason Zasky with Heavy.com has a great breakdown of Tune and his visit with the team here.

Keaton Mitchell - RB East Carolina

Another position that is likely to be addressed during the late rounds of the draft is running back. The current setup outside of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren is full of question marks and Keaton Mitchell could be the perfect compliment to those guys on the roster.

The back-to-back All-AAC selection is a much smaller and faster compared to Harris, who is always ready to lower the shoulder and bulldoze his way through the competition. The team has shown they're doing everything they can to add weapons around Pickett this offseason and adding a late-round guy like Mitchell would help do just that.

Hunter Luepke - FB/RB North Dakota State

Hunter Luepke is another name in that late-round running back tier that the Steelers could be looking into if they want to address the position. Luepke is a Swiss Army Knife type of player. At North Dakota State, he was primarily a fullback, but also had plenty of experience at tailback and tight end.

We already know the team likes having similar guys on the roster like 2022 sixth-round pick, Connor Heyward. With former primary fullback Derek Watt still a free agent, the team could bring in Luepke to fill that void on the offense as well as special teams.

Alex Austin - CB Oregon State

Another position the team could double dip on at some point in this year's draft is cornerback. Pittsburgh made a splash, bringing in fan-favorite cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to kick off the second round Friday night. However, if they want to go back into the cornerback pool, Alex Austin is a name to keep an eye on. Austin has great field awareness, and could be a great addition to a still very questionable cornerback room.

Mitchell Tinsley - WR Penn State

Before the Steelers made a shocking move in trading for veteran wide-receiver Allen Robinson, most people expected the Steelers to look early on in the draft to address the position. The Robinson move gave the team some flexibility early on, but if they look to wide receivers late, Mitchell Tinsley could be a guy to keep an eye out for.

Robert Beal Jr. - Edge - Georgia

The Steelers might just be looking to take a page out of the Philadelphia Eagles' book in trying to acquire as many Bulldogs as possible. The team already jumped on Jones in the first and tight end, Darnell Washington in the third, but one final Bulldog they could look into is Robert Beal Jr.

Beal did struggle to get significant playing time due to the sheer amount of talent on the Bulldog's defensive front, but he's shown enough flashes to at least deserve a shot at the next level.

How would you grade the Steelers' draft a whole so far? Do any of these late-round prospects have your attention? Be sure to leave a comment below and let us know!
