Former Pittsburgh Steelers star running back, Le'Veon Bell recently challenged Vontaze Burfict to a boxing fight, to which Adam "Pacman" Jones clapped back with his own challenge. Through the challenges, online insults, and other forced drama with Bell and Jones, Burfict sent Bell a response with his own challenge, and not one that any fan would expect. Burfict took the high road and declined the boxing match. Instead, he made his own proposal, and one that not only could finally settle this beef once and for all, but also help the world in the process.

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was suspended/fined by the NFL multiple times for illegal hits on opponents.
What did Burfict challenge the former Steelers star to?
On his Instagram, and also reported by multiple sources, Burfict decided that instead of fighting, he just wanted a nice game of golf. He claimed to want all the narratives to end and to settle whatever they have on the golf course as opposed to the boxing ring.
@leveonbell Why we lookin' to fight? Why not show everyone WE can change the narrative. Let's show the world WE can squash beef in other ways than boxing.
Not only does Burfict want to take the nonviolent route in this scenario, he wants to make it a charity drive. The golf game and the charity drives would help end the rivalry between the potentially former hated rivals and show the world that they don't need to fight to settle their score, according to Burfict.

"Let's meet and compete on the golf course. Get some charities involved so WE can help people in need and show kids that we resolved our differences to make the world a better place."
With Burfict being known for being extremely dirty and his former teammate trying to get in on the action, this response was likely the last one that anyone would expect. Still, credit should be given where credit is due, and this is a noble thing that Burfict is trying to do. He's trying to put the past in the past and just enjoy retirement, as well as likely trying to have his name cleaned up somewhat. Bell could easily benefit from doing the same.
Bell's response to that challenge is somewhat unclear. Even though it's only three small words, it's hard to tell if he meant for his response to be in sarcasm or legitimacy, but it seems like Bell meant the former with his tweet.

Whether Bell is truly ok with doing the golf game or not, this is still a great thing that Burfict is trying to do. Bell should accept it, as this golf/charity drive combination will do better for him, his reputation, and the community than anything that he's ever done since he was still playing games for the Steelers. Even if it's not nearly as interesting as the boxing match would have been, it's still a great thing that could happen for all parties involved.
