Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Antonio Brown has not played in an NFL game since he wildly stormed off the field in 2021 as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite not being on the football field, the borderline Hall of Fame pass-catcher has refused to stay out of the news. Whether it was creating havoc in the Arena Football League, having a warrants out for arrest or simply just sending out tweets that come across the wrong way, he has not been removed from the football landscape. A lot of it has been pretty sad to watch transpire, but Brown has consistently seemed like he believes nothing is wrong.

In 2022, Brown agreed to join popular podcast, The Pivot, which is co-hosted by a former teammate of his in Ryan Clark as well as Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder. Brown and Clark haven't necessarily gotten along since playing with one another in Pittsburgh. The media pundit told a story at the end of the 2019 season which implied he knew the Steelers were going to have problems with the wideout after he was acting like he was 'the franchise' after signing his first big contract extension in 2012.
Clark also ripped Brown for his knowledge of concussions and the severity of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in 2019. Brown didn't enjoyed being brought up often on ESPN and let the former safety know that he 'wasn't going to spare' him if they ever had the chance to see each other in person.
Bro stop mentioning my name I know it get u clout keep that same analysis energy next time we meet it’s on site ain’t gone spare u https://t.co/ks4YVRFLTx

The two were teammates from 2010-2013 and when Brown went onto the podcast, Clark apologized to him for comments that were made in the past. That doesn't mean the beef has been squashed, however. Clark recently made headlines after criticizing Miami Dolphins quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. It was more so a joke, but was not received that way and Brown may have taken offense.

Two Former Steelers Continue To Cause Controversy On Social Media
Brown took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to send a message Clark's way. The former pass catcher did not mention the Tagovailoa, or any situation for that matter, by name, but it seems as if he is expecting Clark to bring his name up in the conversation on the air soon. This time around, Brown isn't planning to accept any apologizes.
Ryan Clark been a bitch In media say things then apologize next AB name drop we gone strike yo ass boy
— AB (@AB84) August 28, 2023
Champ had me spare u last time we spin yo ass for confusion boy rap life
The disgruntled former teammate of Clark is essentially saying that the analyst is constantly saying unacceptable things in the media and if he brings his name up again, there are going to be some problems. The second part of the tweet is Brown acknowledging that he didn't overreact back in 2019, but he plans to if something were to come up in conversation again.
Brown has had quite the interesting post-NFL career. No one can know for sure how he drastically changed from the beginning of the 2018 season with the Steelers until now, but Clark has a right to do his job on the air and Brown's antics aren't exactly easy to not criticize. Sadly, Brown attributed his Monday morning social media rampage to a devastating, not to be poked fun at, condition.
My CTE acting up Fuck all y’all whoever played on my name

Maybe Brown is suffering from CTE and this is an unfortunate reaction to that. Many people have guessed he is, but if the tweet above is to crack a joke about it, that would be extremely offensive.

It will be intriguing to see if Clark responds. While many may not expect him to, he rarely stays away from sharing his feelings. He might not want to stay quiet on this one. Brown wasn't done as he released a video calling individuals like Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman for being the crazy ones.

It's likely that no one will ever see Brown participate in an organized football game again. He was on track to be one of, if not, the best wide receiver(s) in NFL history. The departure from the Steelers only saw unfortunate things occurring, aside from him winning a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay. Many memories from fans will not come from what happened on the field, but rather, what has gone on since he walked off for the (probable) last time.
Do you still find it impressive that the Steelers controlled Brown's erratic behavior for so long? Do you think he just threatened Clark again? Let us know in the comments below!
