The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a lot of injury questions ahead of their season opener against the Atlanta Falcons. The biggest injury that has been up in the air has been with quarterback Russell Wilson, who re-aggravated his calf injury that first became an issue at the beginning of training camp. There is now a question of whether or not Wilson will be able to start Sunday, or if fans may get a good look at Justin Fields in Week 1.

Pittsburgh had their last full practice ahead of their season opener, as they will still go through a walk through on Saturday. The team released their practice report after practice on Friday, where they officially listed Wilson as questionable. Rookies Roman Wilson and Logan Lee were also both ruled out, in addition to Isaac Seumalo who sustained a pectoral injury.

The Steelers may exercise some caution with Russell's injury and decide to start Fields, even if Russell gets near 100 percent ahead of kickoff. The veteran quarterback's mobility is already limited, and it would be even more of an issue while he is still dealing with calf tightness. Fields will likely give Pittsburgh the best chance to win.
Roman had a slight chance to play in Week 1, but he is dealing with a sprained ankle that he suffered early in camp. He is officially ruled out of the season opener, and the Steelers will need to rely on other receivers like Calvin Austin III and Scotty Miller to contribute. Roman has been out for quite some time, and once he reaches full health it will take some time for him to get back acclimated with the offense.

Steelers Get Good News Regarding Other Offensive Weapons
Pittsburgh's impressive running back, Jaylen Warren, had to exit the team's second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury. His status for Week 1 has been up in the air, but he has been slowly working his way back and should be a full go on Sunday according to the injury report. The same goes for rookie lineman Troy Fautanu, but is unclear whether or not he will start.

Fautanu missed a large chunk of training camp after suffering a knee injury in the preseason opener, and he likely isn't ready to start. Pittsburgh will probably hold off on throwing him into the fire, especially with Atlanta's new addition of Matthew Judon. Fans may have to wait to see the first-round pick, but he will be available if needed on Sunday.
