McCarthy's rookie season was unfortunately derailed before it even began, as he suffered a knee injury during the preseason. The current available options for Rodgers has been significantly reduced, narrowing his potential destinations to two primary scenarios: a move to the Steelers, or the less probable alternative of retirement. At 41 years of age, Rodgers stands at a pivotal point in his career. Should he choose to continue playing, the upcoming season would mark his 19th in the NFL, a remarkable accolade as he is the league's oldest active player. This longevity, however, also fuels speculation about his potential retirement, given the physical demands of professional football.
