Monday, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman, Stephon Tuitt was diagnosed with a torn pectoral and will need surgery. He was injured in the first quarter in Sunday night’s win vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.
The @Steelers outstanding DL Stephon Tuitt did tear pectoral and will need surgery, out for year, per sources. No longer a “fear” but reality. Another huge setback for team.

Tuitt entered the game tied for the team lead in sacks (3.5) and tackles for loss (6). Look to see more of Tyson Alualu in Tuitt's absence moving forward.
