The Pittsburgh Steelers and TE Vance McDonald agreed to restructure his current contract earlier today. Other players have followed suit to help the team create more cap space in order to get under the salary cap before the new league officially starts this Wednesday. CB Joe Haden and K Chris Boswell have both agreed to restructure their current contracts in order to help the team get back under the cap. Together their restructures will create an additional $4 million in cap space. These two moves, along with McDonald's contract restructure and some cuts, should have the Steelers under the salary cap. Look for more moves to come as free agency has started and the Steelers may continue to restructure current players contracts to create more cap space in order to sign depth players.
