Coming off their third consecutive loss, the Pittsburgh Steelers can use all the help they can get right now. Wednesday provided some good news in the return of running back Anthony McFarland:
Steelers RB Anthony McFarland (knee) is returning to practice today, but still on IR. He's the second Steeler, joining Zach Banner, to return to practice from IR. Neither has been activated to 53-man, but window is open for both to return.

McFarland picked up an injury in preseason and was placed on the short term IR to start the regular season. He and offensive tackle Zach Banner are both now back at practice, but neither has been activated to the 53-man roster yet.
Pittsburgh currently ranks dead last in the league in rushing yards per game. We hope both McFarland and Banner can get back to the active roster soon to help this team start heading in the right direction.
