It appears a decision on whether Ben Roethlisberger is back for 2021 may be coming next week.
Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers are expected to meet some time next week to discuss his future and contract, per source. Both sides took some time away after the season. Roethlisberger wants to return for an 18th NFL season but his $41M cap hit must be addressed.

This news is certainly music to the ears of Steelers fans who want to know what it going to happen at the quarterback position. It's also a decision that has many fans torn on. Some want him to go, and some want him to come back.
Regardless it's a well known fact that Roethlisberger coming back will take a reduction of pay whether it's by a pay cut or an extension to spread the money out.
