Day 4 of Pittsburgh Steelers 2022 training camp on Saturday saw nearly 17,000 fans in attendance at Saint Vincent College. It was a hot, beautiful day in Latrobe, PA, and Head Coach Mike Tomlin decided to address the crowd before practice got underway.

Back Together Saturday is a league-wide initiative in which its mission is to create awareness and engagement around training camps with 32 teams active on a single day. Extensive camp coverage, including access to comprehensive feeds from all 32 locations are provided per NFL Network. Coach Tomlin spoke to that, as well as his appreciation for Steeler Nation:

"It is so awesome to be back in this environment. To see Steeler Nation, as we work to be the team that we all want to be this year." Tomlin continued. "We have a league initiative, it's called Back Together Saturday. And we just wanted to take a pause, not only as the Pittsburgh Steelers, but as members of the National Football League to thank all of you that put so much energy and passion into supporting us. You are a driving force for us. Hopefully we entertain you today and get better, make a few plays, [and] have some fun."

Tomlin also acknowledged the fact that former Steelers tight end, Heath Miller was also in attendance as he was announced into the Steelers 2022 Hall of Honor on Saturday.

"We got some former Steelers back. How 'bout my man, Heath Miller in the building today! [Imitates public address announcer] Number 83! Heeeath! Millerrr!"

Tomlin's speech was followed by another day of exciting previews of what's to come for this 2022 Steelers team. George Pickens resumes his impressive play, quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett continue to try and acclimate themselves into this new offense, and reigning AP Defensive Player of the Year, TJ Watt is already in midseason form.

Some notable details on Saturday included wide receiver, Diontae Johnson, as he continues not to participate in team drills, and wide receiver, Chase Claypool, who missed practice with a right shoulder injury in which he suffered on Friday.

Wide receiver Tyler Vaughns had a great showing, and quarterback Mason Rudolph looks most comfortable right now among all QB's on the roster in this Matt Canada offense. Rookie wide receiver, Calvin Austin III continues to display amazing quickness, while Kendrick Green got most of the first team reps at left guard.

Also still sidelined are star safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and tight end, Pat Freiermuth. Damontae Kazee has started on defense with the first team opposite of Terrell Edmunds and has looked exceptional.
