The Pittsburgh Steelers walked out of Week 1 with quite a few injuries, including TJ Watt’s pectoral. After quite the pessimism initially, Watt now seems like he’ll return at some point this season.

Starting running back, Najee Harris was another key guy that left the game and didn’t return. It seemed as if he would miss time after re-injuring his Lisfranc foot against the Cincinnati Bengals, something he’s been dealing with since suffering it in the beginning of training camp. Now, there’s positive news on that front as well. Adam Schein had Harris on his radio show Tuesday morning, to which the running back said he’ll be ready this upcoming weekend:
"I'll be back at practice this week, and then I will be playing this weekend."

"That's the plan. I should be ready to play," Harris noted.
This would be massive for the Steelers, as the outlook for Week 2 looked bleak there for a moment. With Watt out, Malik Reed will be asked to take on a bigger role. If Harris does indeed play, the black and gold should be able to still beat the New England Patriots in the first regular season game at Acrisure Stadium.
While Harris wasn’t particularly successful running the ball in Week 1, he still remains the team’s best option by far. Rookie Jaylen Warren provided some good pass protection for quarterback, Mitch Trubisky, but he’s not ready for a full workload yet. Harris did score the offense’s lone touchdown as well, catching a pass from Trubisky on a little swing route.
