With James Conner heading onto the injured reserve list today, the Steelers signed RB Stevan Ridley, last with the Broncos.
Ridley, was a third round pick of the New England Patriots in 2011. While he found success in New England, costly fumbles eventually ended his time with Bill Belichick. He had 7 in two seasons. Since his time in New England he has bounced around the league with several teams including the Colts, Jets, Falcons, and Broncos.
He registered only three rushing attempts last season with the Lions, and 36 with the Jets in 2015.
While with the Broncos in the preseason he rushed 38 times for 108 yards with one touchdown.
