The Pittsburgh Steelers rank in the bottom-half of the league in essentially every major offensive category. While it's just three games into the season, the concerns are clearly there. It's been a major reason to the team's 1-2 start, as they may be headed for the team's first below-.500 season under head coach, Mike Tomlin.

Starting quarterback, Mitch Trubisky has yet to eclipse 200 passing yards in any of his three games as the starter of the Steelers. Despite the offense's inefficiencies, players and coaches seem to remain confident moving forward. On Tuesday, Tomlin stated that he felt the offense has gotten better each week that it has taken the field. On Wednesday, Trubisky spoke to the media. Via Brooke Pryor of ESPN, the quarterback remains confident in the offense's overall talent:

"We've got a bunch of great players. We got a bunch of great calls. Matt (Canada) has been calling good games, he's been putting us in good spots. We just gotta go out, make plays for him and for this offense."
As a leader and captain of the team, you can't really expect Trubisky to say much else. If he were to be brutally honest, specifically about offensive coordinator, Matt Canada, well it would cause quite the drama. As a result, the quarterback is putting the offense's performances on himself and the rest of the playmakers.
So far, the Steelers are tied-for-last in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals in yards per attempt at just 5.5. To put some context into just how bad that is, the Jalen Hurts-led Philadelphia Eagles lead the league with 9.3 yards per attempt. The two passing touchdowns through three games is also tied-for-last with five other teams. None of the wide receivers, not even Diontae Johnson or Chase Claypool, have caught a touchdown for the black and gold yet.

Running back, Najee Harris and tight end, Pat Freiermuth have accounted for the lone receiving touchdowns to this point. Their longest play through the air has been 36 yards, despite having deep threats like Claypool and rookie wide receiver, George Pickens. Once again, that's towards the bottom of the league, as it's 29th in the NFL.
You get it, the Steelers offense has been putrid altogether. The rush offense showed some signs of life in Week 3, as both Harris and Jaylen Warren ran the ball quite well, particularly in the second half. Things fell off in the second half though, as the offense as a whole was unable to create any rhythm.
