Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt participated in the team portion of practice for the first time this off-season. Watt of course has been staying out of team drills while he awaits a new contract.
TJ Watt went through a full practice for the first time this year on Wednesday. He is not doing an interview until Friday, but Kendrick Green noted how hard he played. Joe Schobert said it was great to see him out there.

This likely isn't an indication of a new contract being completed, but it does mean that Watt will play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
TJ Watt practiced today. So does that mean he'll play Sunday?

Tomlin: "Like I said yesterday, I'm proceeding with that assumption."
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was happy with what he saw from Watt today in practice.
"I thought he looked good. He was engaged. He has been full participant in walk-throughs. He’s a smart guy. He can learn from watching others and it’s evident in watching him work today," Tomlin said after practice.
