Day 1 of organized team activities (OTA's) for the Pittsburgh Steelers has kicked off Tuesday for 2022. Phase one and two of off-season programs started earlier this month, and this week we'll continue to get our first looks at the current 90-man roster.
In a video presented by Josh Rowntree / 93.7 The Fan, we get a great look at quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, and Chris Oladokun. This could also be a great indication of the current tentative depth chart. Watch:

Steelers quarterbacks interviewed after Day 1 of OTA's
Dejan Kovacevic of DK Pittsburgh Sports podcasts was able to catch up with Rudolph after practice and get his thoughts about the current quarterback competition in Pittsburgh and what his goals are moving forward. Watch:

"Each year I've been here, there's been competition. There's been guys. I mean I just looked back the other day, and a lot of guys, a lot of quarterbacks have filtered through here. And so I think, with the opportunity to play this year, everyone is going to be competing and trying to put their best foot forward. But I'm approaching like, the same mindset I had the last four years. Every single day, every single rep I get, I'm trying to make the most of it and get better." Rudolph continued. "I think there's some things with the offense that have changed post-Ben [Roethlisberger] and we're trying to get up to speed and see what we like. See what concepts we prefer over others. I think leadership perspective. Being able to step up a little more this year and got to be vocal. We are a young offense. There's a lot of young guys that need to step up, and have stepped up from a leadership perspective. But I'm excited to do that."
In other news, still no Stephon Tuitt, and there's already some changes upfront on the offensive side of the ball. More to come.
