The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans game scheduled originally for Sunday has been postponed until further notice. This news breaking early Thursday morning after another Titans player tested positive for coronavirus.
Most likely scenario, as @ESPNStatsInfo proposed, is this, per sources:
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 1, 2020
• Move Steelers-Ravens from Week 7 to Wk 8 (Steelers & Ravens on bye in Wk 8)
• Move Steelers-Titans from Week 4 to Wk 7 (Titans bye is Wk 7).
This is contingent upon no more positive tests in Minnesota.
The news leaves both teams with an unexpected bye week, and that isn't necessarily a good thing for either team. The Steelers haven't had a Week 4 bye since 2012, a year they ultimately missed the playoffs. And if the NFL decides to alter the Steelers schedule further, then they likely will face 13 straight games prior to the playoffs.
Though, in 2005 the Steelers had a Week 4 bye. They won the Super Bowl that season.
Regardless, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin doesn't care about playing 13 straight. He also knows the NFL doesn't care about his opinion.
Tomlin asked if, in his opinion, league did the right thing by postponing game:

"My opinion does not matter. We take marching orders from the national football league. We understand that they're acting in our collective best interest. I have a great deal of comfort in that."

While Tomlin is rolling with the punches, some of his players don't exactly feel so warm and fussy about things being messed up.
Steelers tight end Eric Ebron shared the news of possibly missing his daughters birthday:
im confused on how this became our problem.. my sons birthday party was bye week now i’m missing his birthday & bad enough I don’t even see my kids. shit sucks.

And rookie Chase Claypool better bring his credit card to the apparent rookie dinner that the veterans decided to schedule instead of the game.
Vince Williams claimed that Week 4 byes were 'trash'.
What are your thoughts, Steeler Nation? Yay or nay on the Week 4 bye week?
