The deal gives Trubisky a nice raise from the 2.5 million dollar deal that the Buffalo Bills gave him to back up Josh Allen.
The deal also comes in at quite a bit less than it was projected that Trubisky would get on the open market. Many national media believed that Trubisky would command over 10 million per season when free agency started.
But, Trubisky could nearly double his base salary with incentives according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network
The #Steelers are signing QB Mitch Trubisky to a two-year, $14.25 million deal that's worth up to $27M with incentives, source said.
