On Tuesday morning the Pittsburgh Steelers announced the training camp schedule for the 2022 NFL season. For the first time in three years the Steelers will return to St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Due to COVID-19 the team was forced to practice at Heinz Field for the past two seasons.
Notable dates include the first day open to the public which will be July 27th. It's noted that the team will only wear helmets that day, though. So if you're looking for some full contact practices you'll need to wait until the next week. Friday Night Lights at Latrobe High School will also return on Friday August 5.
If you're unfamiliar with Friday Night Lights it is when the team takes buses over to Latrobe High School and practices on the high school's field.
