It's everyone's dream to meet their idols. Well Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett was able to make the dreams of one little boy come true at training camp on Wednesday. He even brought the little boy to tears. If you've ever been to training camp at beautiful St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA you probably are aware that following practice is a good time to grab an autograph or meet your favorite players.

On Wednesday after Pittsburgh completed their first official day of practice many players spent time signing autographs for the several thousand on hand. From Cam Heyward, TJ Watt, Cam Sutton, to rookies George Pickens and Kenny Pickett. All of the stars were out signing on this day. That could have possibly been because practice was cut short due to possible thunderstorms rolling in. But none the less it was a good day to be at camp if you are an autograph seeker.
One touching moment was caught on camera by the Steelers media team and posted to their social media. We can assume that the woman speaking on the video is a family member of the little boy.
"He's crying 'cause he was scared to even meet you," the woman said to Pickett.
From there Pickett taps the boy on the head to show his appreciation.
"I appreciate you," Pickett said while tapping the kid's head."

"You alright, man?" the 24-year-old signal-caller asked, "Happy times! Happy times!"
From there, Pickett and the little boy dapped each other up as other fans watching gave a loud cheer for the two.
A lot of time's athletes don't get the credit they deserve. The front page story lines are usually the negative ones, and not the positive. Negativity sells a lot quicker than being nice. So we're happy to give the Steelers new quarterback some love. Sometimes all it takes is signing your name to make someone's day, week, or month a little bit brighter. You never know what someone is going through on the inside.
