On Friday, as reported by The Score's NFL insider, Jordan Schultz, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to sign offensive tackle, Le'Raven Clark. Clark, 29, is an eight-year veteran out of Texas Tech.

Clark was originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 82nd overall. He ended up signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an unrestricted free agent in 2021, and after being signed and released a few times by the team, he ultimately left to sign with the Tennessee Titans in 2022.

Clark spent time with current Steelers assistant general manager, Andy Weidl while he was suited up in Philly.

Throughout his career, Clark has shown the ability to be extremely versatile along the offensive line, starting at three different positions (left tackle, right tackle, and right guard). Standing at 6'5", 319 pounds, Clark had appeared in 51 games and had 16 total starts between the Colts (2016-2020) and Eagles (2021).

How will Le'Raven Clark help the Steelers?

With question marks still on the left side of the Steelers' offensive line, speculation continues to build around what the organization will do about the current starting left tackle, Dan Moore Jr. While he still seems to be in the driver's seat for now, adding depth to the position is never a bad thing, and Clark looks to do just that. With Jesse Davis now a free agent and Trent Scott recently signing with the Washington Commanders, Clark should be a great addition to the team in regards to being a back-up tackle on either end of the offensive line.

So, what do yinz think? Is Clark a good depth piece for the Steelers? Or do you think the team should continue to add to the position in free agency and/or the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft? Make sure to comment below, or on our social media platforms!
