What a weekend it has been for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the city of Pittsburgh. First and foremost, the Steelers just wrapped up an outstanding 2023 NFL Draft. One that saw them land numerous home run picks and hopefully land them many stars for the next decade. Beyond that the Pittsburgh Pirates put up 22 runs today in a double header in Washington. Those two wins lifted the Pirates to a 20-8 record. The best record in the National League. And on top of all of that country music star Luke Combs was performing at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday night.

Now if you've never been to Pittsburgh for a concert before let me tell you that no matter the artist it always seems like someone from the Steelers makes it up onto stage. Personally, I've seen Ben Roethlisberger come on the stage with Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, and Luke Bryan. Now with Roethlisberger retired it appears to be Kenny Pickett's turn.

The Steelers second-year quarterback made an appearance late in the evening on the stage of his home turf. He joined Combs up on stage and both of them shot gunned a beer. Another Pittsburgh legend, Bob Pompeani was on hand and shared this video to Twitter.

Pickett has had a busy weekend. On Friday night he joined Cam Heyward on stage at Stage AE next door to Acrisure to film a live episode of Heyward's podcast Not Just Football. They were eventually joined by Steelers first round pick Broderick Jones. One thing about Pickett is that he's very visible. It seems like he's always either working out, or getting out in front of the fans. If you're a Steelers fan you have to love seeing Pickett out and about. He seems very approachable and just like he's living life to the fullest.

The night didn't just belong to Pickett, though. Former Steelers quarterback Devlin 'Duck' Hodges was also in the building. Well, his jersey was at least. It seems that Hodges' had been shooting his shot for a few weeks now with opening act and rising star Lainey Wilson.

During her set Wilson and her entire band rolled in wearing Hodges' #6 jerseys. Quickly people began to tag Hodge's on Twitter. He responded to the user by saying "Did she really?!?! Y’all are lying !!!! holla at me !!!" then tagging Wilson's Twitter account. Truthfully, I don't know if Wilson and Hodges have some kind of relationship or not. A google search didn't bring up anything about her dating Hodges. But it all seemed very coincidental.

It's been a while since we've heard anything from Hodges. After being the Steelers on again off again starting quarterback in 2019 he was released then brought back to the practice squad in 2020. After that he had a quick stint with the Los Angeles Rams before. He spent some time in in the CFL before eventually announcing his retirement in 2022.
