The Pittsburgh Steelers have had many legendary players compete for their highly touted organization whom went on to wear a gold jacket and were inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. One of which was Rod Woodson, who is often regarded as one of the best cornerbacks to ever play the game of football. He holds the NFL record for having the most interceptions returned for a touchdown, but obviously, the United Parcel Service (commonly known as UPS) is unaware of Woodson's NFL legacy, as they have allegedly stolen a very important package from him.

Steelers' Woodson Has Package Stolen
Woodson took to Twitter on Friday evening to rant about a package he had lost by UPS and he is now claiming that it must have been stolen by the company. He was trying to send a jersey to his former teammate with the Steelers, Greg Lloyd, who was one of the most important members of the Steelers organization in the 1990s as he was the team's perennial All-Pro and Pro-Bowl linebacker. Woodson gave a recap of the situation on Twitter Friday night.
"I normally would never post anything like this but I sent a jersey to Greg Lloyd that he wore when he played and signed it, but UPS said the package was damaged and took the jersey, well they said they threw it away. I will never use UPS again. That is called theft!"
Woodson and Lloyd were both a part of the same Steelers draft class in 1987, with Woodson being a first-round pick and Lloyd being a sixth-round pick. They would end up playing together in Pittsburgh until 1986, when Woodson signed with the San Francisco 49ers during free agency.

Woodson and Lloyd were great friends and have stayed somewhat close since their playing days in with the Steelers since the two of them were the two leaders of the defense for so long throughout the 1990s. These two don't get as much attention as the members of the Steel Curtain that won four Super Bowls back in the 1970s, but they still are important members in the history of Steeler football.
It seemed Woodson had a Lloyd game worn jersey that he wanted to sign and send to Lloyd or have Lloyd sign and send back to him, either way, the two were trying to reconnect and doing something nice for one another. Instead of completing the simple jersey exchange, UPS tried to say the jersey was damaged and that they threw it away. Which simply sounds like they realized what was in the package and that it might have some value to it, so the jersey was stolen.

Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw
This whole situation is eerily similar to when Steelers' Terry Bradshaw went on a rant about Walmart and how awful their customer service is. This happened back in July of 2022, and he walked back his statements about the Walmart a few weeks later when he realized how people wouldn't stop talking about it and how he stirred up a whole mess.
Now, another former Steelers player is doing the same thing, just with UPS. Woodson doesn't have the same media presence that Bradshaw does, so it is unlikely this reaches the same level as that situation did, however it is still always interesting to hear that these legendary athletes go through the same issues and inconveniences everyone else does.
